Estonian President Meets with Turkish Defense Company Nurol Makina

Estonian President Alar Karis visited Nurol Makina, a leading armored land vehicle manufacturer in the Turkish defense industry, during his trip to Türkiye. Estonia has chosen Nurol Makina for its defense forces due to the high quality, sustainability, and fast delivery times of their products.

President Karis emphasized the importance of fast delivery times, as the security situation in Estonia’s region has become more tense. He mentioned that he is confident in Nurol Makina’s battle-tested products to meet the defense needs of Estonia.

Nurol Makina’s General Manager, Engin Aykol, expressed pride in the visit and highlighted the company’s focus on perfecting their 4X4 armed vehicles. Nurol Makina serves over 20 countries with vehicles known for their mobility and protection levels.

In a recent contract signing, Nurol Makina will supply Estonia with Yörük 4X4 wheeled armored vehicles tailored to the Estonian Army’s specific needs. This marks Estonia as the sixth country and third NATO member to prefer the Yörük 4X4. Deliveries are expected within a year, with the extended wheelbase configuration allowing for enhanced space and versatility for operational requirements.

The Yörük 4X4 vehicles will have the capability to carry up to 11 people, with increased interior compartment, payload capacity, and customizable features. The vehicles will maintain their armored protection and advanced features to ensure the safety and security of occupants.
